Ted in the OfficeThe Faithfulness of God.  It’s just like breathing.

His faithfulness comes so naturally we don’t have to doubt.  It’s everyday, in everyway, He pours out his blessing.  He lavishes us with His increbible love.  No far seeing telescope can bring into visability the coastline of His shoreless supply.

Apart from God’s faithfulness to us we must understand that He requires an undying faithfulness to Him.  If this is a struggle and an effort there comes in to play a question of our regenerate state.

All I want to do is live for Him.  Even though I stumble and fall, the general disposition of my life is to give back what He has given me.  Life everylasting.  A life that is faithful to His call.

My personal disciplines of worship are

1) daily, as a private devotional practice.

2) regularly, in assembling together with the people of God in a local congregation.
Remembering that the gathering together of the people was never man’s idea.  It was God’s.

Ex 25:2,8,22 “From everyone who gives it willingly with his heart you shall take my offering… And let them make me a sanctuary, that I may dwell amoung them… And there I will meet with you from above the mercy seat”
The divine idea of meeting together has nothing to do with attendance records, with the size of any local congregation, or to swell the coffers.  The issue is that God wants to meet with His people coorporately as well as in private practice or fellowship.  “Gathering Together” is pointedly and prophetically directed.

Heb 10:25 “Forsake not the assembling together as some are in the habit of doing (they must have had a church attendance problem back then) all the more as you see the day approaching.”  All the MORE!!

Jesus is coming back so get together!  Be in fellowship.  Have church!  Mobilize the troops!  One mind, One heart, One love!

If we are faithful to God’s house He will be faithful to ours.

“For much is given much is required”

There is a commitment level required in serving Jesus.  A dying to self!  Being faithful in the small things.  Prioritizing the Kingdom of God. “The greatest enemy of the church is any other alternative use of time.”

Growing up I never had a problem getting a job because my prosective employers had references that listed one of my characteristics as “Ted is Faithful”.  My life goal is to be faithful to God.  Faithful to His calling. Faithful to my wife, Kylie.

Faithfulness is a beautiful attribute modelled by Jesus.  The greatest example of Jesus being “Faithful” was when he said “I do the will of my Father” and the excruciating length He took to die for our sins.

He’s is so faithful.  His faithfulness is a daily praise-point in my worship, in my prayer in my life.  It’s like breathing.  It’s the first statement that usually comes out of my mouth.  Thankyou God for your faithfulness.
